MUSASHI Automobiltechnik provides customers with complex transmission shafts since entering the technology of cross wedge rolling. This procedure is predestined for countershafts and main shafts due to different cross-sectionals.

Cross wedge rolled shafts have - in comparison with horizontally or vertically forged shafts - a favorable grain orientation and no circumferential burr. The resulting shafts are near net shaped for subsequent machine processing.
